Please shampoo your hair 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
All services are a la cart. Retightens will no longer come with a simple style.
Consultation Policy
A consultation is mandatory before any service.
Consultations are $50.00(Non-refundable).
Deposits
All installations deposits are non-refundable. All final payments must be paid in CASH ONLY.
Late Policy
A 10 minute grace period had been allotted.
Please DO NOT TEXT or CALL at the time of your appointment to let me know that you are running late. A courtesy text or call should be had at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment if you know you’re going to be late.
If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, a $1 per minute late fee will be added to your total amount due or a 100% service booked will be charged pending interference with the next scheduled client. That $1 per minute added to your service for being late will apply to the deduction of me being late to your appointment.
Note: This 100% service booked MUST BE PAID before scheduling any future appointments, no exceptions.
Cancellation Policy
All appointments must be cancelled with at least 24 hours notice of your scheduled appointment time or a 100% of your service booked will be charged, no exception. If you have pre-booked you have to pay the full price of service booked within 12 hours of your missed appointments if not all future scheduled appointments will be cancelled. If appointments are cancelled you are responsible for rescheduling your appointment online.
If I, Ivy Essence has to cancel any appointments for any reason, related to illnesses or family emergencies, I will reschedule you to the best of my abilities. If you choose not to set up an appointment and opt for being overdue please refer to the Overdue section.
If I, Ivy Essence, have to cancel your appointment on the same day, your next service is free however the over due fee will still be in affect.
Refund Policy
Consultations are non-refundable. Deposits for ALL services are non-refundable or transferable by the consultant discretion once a service is booked. Deposits for installs/establishments are non-refundable, however your quote is redeemable for 30 days. After 30 days a new consultation is required OR a $200 growth fee will be automatically applied.
Overdue Policy
As a courtesy to myself and the integrity of your locs, a retighten is needed every 4-6 weeks based on what we agreed on. Any appointments over our agreed-upon maintenance schedule will require an initial fee of $65 plus a $25 per week overdue fee. Example: If your agreed-upon maintenance schedule is set at 6 weeks and you are overdue by 2 weeks which would be your 8th week you would pay your retighten fee plus $65 for week 7 then $25 for week 8.
Sisterlocks Grid and Pattern
I, IvyEssence will give you the standard Sisterlocks grid and pattern, unless otherwise stated by myself or you. I will install a blend of loc sizes to fit the head, that will fall within the Sisterlocks guidelines.
