A Little About Sisterlocks

Sisterlocks® is a trademarked locking method that was invented just over 20 years ago by Dr. JoAnne Cornwell that differs significantly from traditional locking methods. Only trained certified Sisterlocks® associates like myself are able to give official Sisterlocks®. Much smaller and lightweight than traditional Locs, Sisterlocks® enable easy manipulation of difficult and intricate styles. Sisterlocks is a process that begins with an initial consultation, followed by an installation or establishment appointment with a certified specialist, and finalized with a retightening appointment. For authentic Sisterlocks® and Brotherlocks®, special tools and methods must be used, so it is important that it performed by an experienced salon with certified locticians.

+Do we offer loc extension?

We do not offer loc extension services of any kind.

+ How much is a Sisterlocks starter package?
Your Sisterlocks package can range from $2,500 and up. Your final quote will be determined at your in person consultation.

+ What comes with a consultation?
A consultant will go over the price of your install as well as putting 3-5 test locks on the side ear section of your head and or nape area.

We will also discuss the maintenance required with Sisterlocks or depending on what service you booked.

+ Am I allowed to color my hair?
You should have your hair colored before coming to have your Sisterlocks consultation.

You will be unable to color your hair for 6-12 months after installation.
